eSIM for Asia

One package across the region, so a multi-country trip is one purchase rather than four. Check the covered list once and stop thinking about borders.

Where it works

21 countries on one package. A few of them:

ThailandJapanArmeniaBangladeshChinaGeorgia
Included countries
One data allowance for the whole package — use it in any mix of the 21 included countries. It is not per country.
When validity starts
Your package starts when your phone first connects to a network at the destination — not when you install it. Crossing a border does not restart it.
Entering another included country
Your phone picks up a partner network in the new country automatically — keep data roaming on for the onesim line. No settings to change and nothing to reinstall.
Outside the covered countries
The package does not connect. Your phone falls back to Wi-Fi or your home SIM if you allow it — check the list before you go, and look at another onesim package for uncovered stops.
Calls and texts
onesim is data-only. Calls and messages work over data in apps like WhatsApp or FaceTime; your usual SIM keeps your number.
Support and refunds
Message the onesim support team from the app or the website. If a package cannot be installed or used, the refund policy explains what applies. Refund policy
Route idea · Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo

Three countries, one package.

A first trip across the region that a lot of people do in two to three weeks. Three very different cities, two short flights, one data allowance. The line below is an illustration, not a map.

The Chao Phraya river seen from Wat Arun in Bangkok1

Bangkok · Days 1–5

File the digital arrival card before you fly. The river boats are the best transport in the city and the Skytrain covers the rest. Add Chiang Mai or an island if you have the days.

eSIM for Thailand
The ArtScience Museum and the Marina Bay skyline in Singapore2

Singapore · Days 6–8

Two hours by air. Small enough to walk and hot enough that you will not: the MRT is fast, cheap and air-conditioned. A good place to break a long trip and reset.

eSIM for Singapore
Shibuya Scramble Crossing in Tokyo at dusk3

Tokyo · Days 9–16

Seven hours by air. Base yourself on the Yamanote loop, get a Suica onto your phone before you land if you have an iPhone, and give the second week to Kyoto or the mountains.

eSIM for Japan

How the plan fits this route

One eSIM, one allowance, three countries — as long as each one is on the covered list, which is worth checking before you book, because regional lists are specific. Nothing to switch at an airport, no second installation, and no local SIM registration in a country whose language you do not read.

Before you go

Three things a regional trip needs that a single-country trip does not.

Check the country list, not the region name. "Asia" is a list of specific countries, and the one you assumed was included may not be. The list on this page is the one that counts, and it is checked against what we can actually sell today.

Entry rules are per country and they change. Thailand needs a digital arrival card, several countries run electronic travel authorisations, and a few still want a paper form on the plane. Check each one on its own government site a fortnight before you fly.

Plugs and payment habits vary more than coverage does. Japan is 100V with type A sockets, Thailand and Singapore are different again, and a country can be card-first in its capital and cash-only an hour outside it. A universal adapter and a small amount of local cash covers both.

Open “See covered countries” and search each stop. The list is the authoritative source: if a country is on it, this package works there; if it is not, we point you to another onesim package if one covers it.
