Finding your phone’s model number
Where the exact model name and number live in your settings — and why the regional code matters.
Choose the language shown in your phone’s settings — it can differ from the language you read in.

Read the model name
“Model Name” gives the marketing name, for example iPhone 13 Pro.
Reveal the regional model code
“Model Number” first shows a part number like MLPF3. Tap it once and it switches to the regional code starting with “A”, for example A2636. That code is what the compatibility checker matches.
Advancing through these steps doesn’t confirm anything on your phone — check the line appears in your settings.
